Have you been to downtown Kelowna lately? If you've noticed a lot of construction happening in the area—you’re absolutely right! Our city’s core is transforming into a vibrant metropolitan hub. With several key development projects underway, it's
becoming a highly walkable, integrated space for everyone to enjoy. Here’s a quick snapshot of the latest buildings:

Currently Under Construction:

• Waterstreet by the Park: Three stunning towers, ranging from 24 to 42 stories, will soon bring 816 residential units.
• UBCO Campus Tower: A 43-story building offering 473 units of university housing, creating a dynamic community for students.
• Nolita on Coronation: A chic, boutique-style 6-story building with 60 beautiful units.
• 1331 Bertram: A sleek, modern 19-story tower providing 157 rental units.
• 647 Clement: A cozy 6-story building with 66 units, adding more living spaces to our growing downtown.

Applications Submitted:

• 346 Lawrence: A proposed 34-story tower featuring 261 residential units.
• Vintage at Waterscapes on Ellis: Planned as four impressive towers, with heights ranging from 26 to 34 stories.
• 1355 St Paul: A 40-story mixed-use building offering 462 units.
• Elta: A 19-story rental high-rise providing 144 units.
• Delano: A 6-story project slated to include 85 units.

Approved but Not Yet Under Construction:

• 1451 Bertram: Soon to rise as a 20-story building, with 176 units set to add even more life to the downtown area.

These developments are a key part of Kelowna’s 2040 Official Community Plan, which aims to create a vibrant downtown where people can live, work, and play with ease.
